I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I know I’ve been particularly busy, as Valentine’s Day is also S’s birthday. The weekend was full of celebrations!

I also have a cool new story: I have a spider bite on my leg.
Of all the unfortunate things to happen, some sound cooler than others and spider bites seem more interesting than, say, getting bit by a dog or a small child.
Anyway, it sounds more exciting than it is. The doctor said it left bruising all the way into my muscle, but otherwise it looked fine.

S’s school day today was primitively canceled on account of bad weather. That means we’ll be having chocolate pancakes, as per our tradition.
