(My favorite wall. It’s in my kitchen. Here hangs the original artwork for ‘Dyad’ and the map with S and my travel plans through June 2015).
Well ‘Dyad’ took off with a bang!
In the three days it was free, the rider was downloaded more than 130 times! Thank you, everyone!
(Also, the reviews left on Amazon are helpful, so a special thank you to those of you who have taken the time to leave comments!)
With ‘Dyad’ on the market, my attention has turned to ‘Sortilege’ (and freelance work) (and the contests I’m entering) (and the rough draft of ‘Sciamachy’, the second full-length novel for ‘The Empyrean Series’).
I’m really glad I’ve decided to edit the manuscript again. While I’ve found one typo, I’m mostly making sure the facts are all consistent and refreshing myself on the story. I’m so excited to release it on Thanksgiving!
On Monday I directed the photoshoot for the cover art of ‘Sortilege’. An elf will be on the front cover which means the model needed to have a certain ethereal look. I love the pictures already and I can’t wait to see what Liz Lindstrom creates.
I’ve been shifting all my income to writing work, so I’ve been having to spend a lot of time working on freelance jobs. Luckily that’s going well and strengthening my skills as a writer.
It’s like I’m a real writer with a real job at the same time that are actually the same thing!
