October Madness

(When weeds are beautiful)

October is moving by so quickly that I’m afraid I’ll wake up on Halloween and second now.

I’ve been working frantically, writing and managing my social media job and keeping up with my art studio internship. S and I leave on Thursday for a vacation to California to visit some dear friends of ours.

The days seem to have become a mad scramble to get everything done. Edit. Write. Laundry. Pack. Clean. Social media. Research. Draw. Repeat.

As busy as I am these days, I don’t think I’ve ever been happier.
I’m not sure why, in life, everything seems to happen at once. Things seemed so still and now it seems nearly frantic.

It is a good, fulfilling kind of frantic.

I am so happy to be writing so much, to be pushing myself with deadlines and goals. I can feel myself growing and stepping into my career. The other commitments I’ve made, outside my home, help keep me on track.

S and I are looking forward, solidifying travel plans (hello, fast-approaching Christmas), and dreaming of life in 2015 after he completes his bachelors degree.

Thank you, again, to everyone who has purchased ‘Soul Among the Stars‘. I truly appreciate your support! I can’t wait to share the rest of my work with you. Keep an eye open come November. I’ve got two pieces heading for Amazon.

Over the weekend I updated the ‘About‘ page on this blog. I like it much better. If you haven’t read it, check it out.
