(A lovely painting. Didn’t think to get the artist’s name or painting title. I know, I know. Forgive me.)
Art is an interesting thing. If you pay attention to yourself, you’ll probably find a pattern in the ones that stand out to you. For instance, I really enjoy paintings with a lot of bright colors, with a variety of textures, and I also enjoy abstract art a lot.
Art is a fascinating way of self-expression and observing the world. I spend a lot of time imagining what must go through the artist’s mind when they created their piece.
As well as its pleasing aesthetic, art is appreciated for its revelation of perspective.
Everyone has a perspective. It’s probably different than yours. That’s okay.
The more I’m around people, the more I realize that while we all have things in common, we all disagree about something.
There is beauty in that.
I will probably never paint that picture – but I could write a stunning narrative about it, if I do say so myself. I appreciate the differences between my perspective and theirs. It takes all kinds, after all.
And, fascinatingly enough, there is a strong possibility that neither of us are ‘correct’.
(And that’s okay, to0)
