Gardening is less exciting in winter. A lot of the work (okay, all of the work) has been done by S, organizing the hoop house and preparing it for spring.
He cleaned up the edges and finished all the walkways. It’s much easier to move around inside.
He has envisioned moving the pots (not pictured) onto the pallets.
Confession: I have no idea what most of this stuff is, but I like how neat and organized it looks.
Am I alone in finding watering cans cute?
One thing we’ve been doing is pulling rocks out of the beds. S has been chucking them in this bucket:
The hoop house from the outside (have I mentioned the landlords are slightly less than neat? I’m not sure what’s in front of the door…):
It’s been staying plenty warm in there. I have to admit that I was skeptical. However, especially when it’s sunny, it’s been warm inside.
I’m still waiting for the broccoli to broccolify, if you know what I mean. S says it will grow from the center. I’m really curious.
Ηellо! I’ve been reading your site for some time nоw and finally got
the courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from Lubbock Texas!
